Before starting a family, I wasn’t really into anything natural. I liked my store-bought shampoo, painted toenails, and sugary snacks. When we decided to start a family, my thought process changed on alot of things. It started with concerns for our baby, and grew to include my husband and myself as well. Common things like the kind of food we put in our bodies seemed so much more important than it did before.

Becoming a natural family is a growing process. It can’t all be done in a weekend. Simply being aware of the concept of natural family living is a big step. What you chose to do with the information you learn (here or anywhere) is up to you. Take it or leave it - but read it. Education is power. I found for myself I had to take things in baby steps. I wanted to be sure the choices I was making were being made because I felt they were right for me and my family, not someone elses.

This blog will be a work in progress, where I share ideas and information (and some great links) to inspire and encourage you on your own natural path. Shelby and Silvia are fellow “crunchies” who will help me add information and write their own thoughts on natural living.

Wife of seven years to Rick, and Mommy to three-year-old Ariana Star
